听力原文： McDonald's founders Dick and Mac McDonald started with their little drive-in res

taurant in California in the late 1940s. It's one of the two most recognized and powerful brands in the world, the other being Coca-Cola, the only soft drink supplier to McDonald's today.

Value means low prices at McDonald's. Today, value is defined as the total experience you receive for what you pay. The total experience includes nice food, friendly folks, a clean environment, quick and accurate service—and fun.

Staying at these houses is cheaper than staying at hotels, and the atmosphere is friendlier and more homelike.
