How to Keep Fit
Ten years ago I used to be very fit. I cycled to work and I did a lot of exercise at the weekends. I used to play tennis a lot and go for long walks. In those(51), I didn't earn very much. I had a job in an office. It wasn't a very good job but I had a lot of time to do the things I enjoyed(52).
Then, about eight years ago, I got a(53)better job. The pay was better. But the hours were a lot longer, too. I bought a car and(54)to work every day. I began to take people out to lunch. And I began to put on weight, too. I stopped playing tennis and(55)for long walks at the weekends because I just didn't have any time for things like that any more. There's a lot of stress in a job like(56). Perhaps that's why I started drinking more than I used to. I started smoking a lot, too. I(57)used to smoke at all.
Two months ago I had a heart(58). At first I just couldn't believe it. "I'm too young," I said.(59)it wasn't very serious. I was in hospital a few days and they did a lot of tests. The doctor(60)me to stop smoking and to eat less. He told me to do a lot of other things, too. But I don't see how I could do some of them and keep my job. For example, he advised me to work less, and do more(61). But I just haven't any time! My job takes everything out of me!
Sometimes I wonder if I should get(62)job. Perhaps I could do something as I used to do. But if I do that, I won't(63)as much. I have a family to(64). I have to think of them, too. I just don't know(65)I should do. What do you think?
A.hours
B.time
C.days
D.minutes

听力原文:M: How did you get started in jazz singing?
W: It was a zigzag route. I went from country music to singing madrigals, to singing folk, to opera, and then to jazz. People kept offering me different projects, saying ' Well, I know that you have never done this before, so maybe you might not want to?' and I would say, ' Oh, sure. I' 11 try it. ' So I went from form. to form, to form. and that is how.
M: Are you going to keep moving around or are you stuck on jazz singing now?
W: I think jazz is where I' m going to stay. I feel the most comfortable here, I have the most freedom here.
M: When were the sessions for this album originally done?
W: The session was done in Sept. of 1998 we mixed it down the second week of October, and nothing was done with it. I was busy for five and half years in a life of death battle with a portion of the government' a legal battle' that I had. So I had to drop everything to deal with it.
M: Does anyone in your family have a musical background?
W: I was brought up in a family that had an awful lot of musicians, and none of them took anything I was doing very seriously at all. I was actually the family joke. I just did this music to get it out of my system. I did not expect anyone to pay much attention to it. I just knew that I had to say it.
M: Thanks for talking with us, best wishes for your career.
W: Thank you!

Charmante Customer Service
10 Old Shoals Road
Arden, North Carolina 28704
Dear Ms. Hamilton,
I recently purchased a Charmante VX12 Laser printer from Tech Giant and was initially satisfied with the product. After only two days, however, my printer started to malfunction. I (150) returned it to the store and exchanged it for another VX12, but after only four days, that printer began to malfunction too. Although I could have had the machine repaired (151) warranty, I chose to exchange it for a model from another company instead. I'm not sure if these problems occur with all Charmante VX12s or just the two that I had, but I think it may be worth looking into to (152) future customer dissatisfaction.
Sincerely,
Robert Evans
