听力原文: The state of Illinois plans to install solar energy systems in 2.5 million homes by 2020 to save electricity and reduce pollution from power plants and industrial facilities, Governor Andrew Marshall said on Friday. New legislation states that any homes builders make based on the energy plan will be required to offer solar panels as an option for new homes in Illinois from 2010. Home buyers will receive 40% panel installation rebates from the state government, and also upon request, prospective buyers will get an estimate of installation costs and possible energy savings which will be credited to the buyers' accounts. During peak periods, it is expected that every year up to one million watts of electricity will be saved and pollution will be reduced by 50 million tons of carbon dioxide-based pollutants.
