Will We Take Vacation in Spaces?

Subject: Difficulty accessing the Internet

Dear Ms. Kelly Hoffman,

I suddenly had difficulty accessing the Internet. I had no problem accessing outside web sites this morning. But since I returned from lunch, I haven' t been able to access web sites outside of the company's networks. I contacted the technical support manager immediately, but I haven't gotten a response yet.

My colleague, Ms. Carol Hewitt, said you helped her solve her technical problem before and suggested I make a call to you directly. Is there a problem with the company's Internet connection or is this problem unique to my workstation?

Thank you very much for your help.

Re: Problem with access to the Internet

Dear Mr. Henry Samuel,

I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. Our technical support manager, Mr. Keith Wilson usually handles Internet problems but he will be out of the office until December 27, 2007.

The failure of access seems to be occurring randomly. Almost all employees still have full online access but your workstation must be one of the ones that are experiencing connection problems today. To determine the cause of the problem and prevent it from happening again, I have forwarded your e-mail to our system administrators for further investigation. I expect to have the situation resolved within an hour.

In the meantime, please delete your temporary Internet files. These files may have become corrupted and could possibly be contributing to the problem. Instructions for deleting the files can be found in your employee manuals.

I will be leaving the office at 4 p.m. today. If you need further assistance after that time, please contact Mr. Gavin Newsom, my assistant.
