Top National Health Service (NHS) nurses will be able to earn $ 40,000 a year without leaving frontline patient care in a modification to salary structures. "Nurses are rising to the challenge of modernisation," said a government official. "These proposals will help them improve their professional role further and provide a better service to patients.
